Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience/training
- Over 3 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale solutions in production environments
- Proficiency in deployment technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker
- Experience with source control systems like GitHub and Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with cloud providers including Azure and AWS
- Ability to streamline solutions for performance, reliability, and simplicity
- Strong communication skills in conveying ideas verbally, in writing, and through diagrams
- Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM) and DevOps toolchains, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
- Capability to analyze complex infrastructure and data integrity challenges and create robust technical solutions
- Experience supporting enterprise ecosystems related to Software Asset Management (SAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), and CMDB governance
Responsibilities
- Act as the subject-matter expert for systems such as ServiceNow CMDB, Tanium, Flexera, cloud provider APIs, and OT discovery platforms
- Direct the technical governance of enterprise asset discovery and maintain CMDB data integrity across SAM and HAM domains
- Install, configure, and enhance infrastructure components (compute, storage, network, cloud services) that support ITAM/CMDB and discovery systems
- Design, test, and document automation, scripts, and tools to improve platform reliability, lifecycle management, and data quality while decreasing manual tasks
- Create resilient, scalable solutions including backup, disaster recovery, and failover strategies for critical platforms
- Lead technical designs for new infrastructure capabilities, integrations, and modernization projects across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments
- Perform root cause analysis for infrastructure or data integrity problems and implement lasting solutions through design and engineering
- Establish and maintain observability of platforms through logging, monitoring, health checks, and validation processes
- Ensure infrastructure modifications adhere to best practices for resilience, security, supportability, and ITSM alignment
- Assess vulnerabilities and operational flaws in infrastructure and propose mitigation strategies
- Develop and maintain comprehensive architecture diagrams, technical documentation, operational runbooks, and lifecycle standards
- Mentor engineering teams regarding infrastructure practices, platform operations, disaster recovery design, and CMDB/asset-related data flows
- Advocate for reusability, standardization, and consistent architectural patterns across systems and integrations
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud engineering, audit, ITSM, and operations teams to provide aligned technical solutions
