Requirements
Must:
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support (preferably in a Managed Service Provider environment)
- Familiarity with Windows 10/11 operating systems
- Basic administration skills with Microsoft 365 (user account and mailbox management)
- Understanding of Active Directory concepts (user management, groups, password resets)
- Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP)
- Strong structured troubleshooting skills (focusing on methodology rather than trial and error)
- Capability to follow established documentation and procedures
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- (Preferred) Experience with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools (e.g., NinjaRMM)
- (Preferred) Background in ticketing systems and SLA-oriented environments
- (Preferred) Knowledge of cybersecurity principles (MFA, endpoint protection)
- (Preferred) Experience with Apple products (macOS, iOS)
- (Preferred) Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+)
- Successful completion of a drivers history check
- Successful completion of a criminal background check
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening
Responsibilities
- Provide remote technical assistance to end users across various client environments
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to:
- Windows workstations and basic server operations
- Microsoft 365 (user accounts, email configurations, basic licensing)
- Network connectivity (both wired and wireless, including VPN access)
- Conduct onsite support at client sites for:
- Deployment and replacement of workstations
- Basic troubleshooting of network issues
- Installation of hardware (desktops, printers, peripherals)
- Maintain accurate records of all support activities within the ticketing system
- Adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), escalation paths, and security guidelines
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours technical support
