Requirements
Must:
- A degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline is essential.
- Preference for candidates with degrees from ABET-accredited institutions.
- Typically requires an MS with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a BS with at least 8 years of experience.
- Star ID will be necessary for access to MSFC.
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Conduct IT functions including the design, analysis, evaluation, testing, debugging, and implementation of application programs that facilitate our business processes and operations.
- Analyze, install, acquire, modify, and support operating systems, database, or utility software.
- Plan, conduct, and oversee the analysis of business challenges that can be addressed with automated systems.
- Design, acquire, and implement projects for LAN and/or WAN systems.
- Plan, design, acquire, and implement telecommunications voice and wire systems.
- At advanced levels, contribute to the development, evaluation, testing, or design of system or infrastructure architecture utilized across the IT solution spectrum.
