Senior Information Systems Security Engineer - Splunk/Nessus

- Lead and manage engineering efforts for the Trellix (ePO) ecosystem and the ACAS (Nessus) suite - Design, configure, and maintain Trellix components across both Windows and Linux environments - Develop and implement endpoint security policies based on DISA STIGs and organizational requirements - Create custom signatures, rules, and exceptions to mitigate zero-day threats and fulfill specific operational needs - Validate custom exceptions to ensure continuous operation of essential processes without compromising compliance - Formulate enterprise-wide vulnerability scanning strategies and oversee the deployment of Security Centers and Nessus scanners - Act as the primary escalation point for complex scanning issues and credentialing difficulties - Automate compliance data reporting for continuous monitoring systems and risk scoring repositories - Integrate security tools such as Splunk, XSOAR, and ServiceNow to automate workflows and improve incident response - Provide expert recommendations and ACAS-generated artifacts to aid in the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process - Oversee the maintenance and scalability of test, development, and operational environments in collaboration with Network and DevSecOps teams - Deliver multi-tier maintenance and incident response across the entire cybersecurity portfolio.
