Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in analyzing and designing business applications within computer systems and networks
- At least five (5) years of experience in developing SharePoint and/or Power Platform solutions
- Proficiency in creating canvas and model-driven PowerApps applications using SharePoint Lists and Dataverse, along with automated workflows utilizing Power Automate
- Experience with Power BI, including DAX and Power Query, focused on developing reports, dashboards, and integrated solutions
- Familiarity with the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and operational support
- Competence in establishing and integrating relational data for Power Platform solutions
- Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a larger development team
- Skilled in interfacing with customers to understand current and future states while providing updates to ensure solutions meet expectations
- Experience in Business Process (Re)Engineering is advantageous
- Microsoft Certified Power Platform Developer certification is a plus
- Capability to obtain and maintain a DOD Security Clearance, with a preference for candidates holding an active Secret Security Clearance
Responsibilities
- Act as the Power Platform Developer to implement information management solutions
- Manage an agile development lifecycle
- Engage with clients to review departmental goals, assess functional needs, and propose innovative solutions
- Define and document technical requirements for development based on accepted solutions
- Establish a technical vision for our development team
- Document and implement business rules and best practices
- Mentor and support team members in their professional growth
- Analyze trade-offs between usability, performance, and constraints in proposed solutions
- Lead working meetings to demonstrate progress and identify next steps
- Document, design, manage, and assist in the development and implementation of various solutions, including web content, collaborative portals, customized applications, automated forms, and complex workflows
