Requirements
Must:
- 2+ years of experience in web management, web development, or a related digital role
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Web Development, Digital Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with content management systems (CMS), especially WordPress
- Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools
- Familiarity with website hosting environments and domain management
- Experience with page builders such as Elementor is a plus
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily management of company websites to ensure optimal performance, accuracy, and brand consistency
- Conduct regular website audits to identify and rectify technical issues, broken links, and performance bottlenecks
- Manage website backups, security updates, and maintain data integrity
- Collaborate with third-party developers and hosting providers as necessary
- Update and maintain website content using content management systems (CMS) like WordPress
- Ensure all web content is engaging, precise, and in line with brand guidelines
- Optimize websites for full responsiveness across all devices including desktop, tablet, and mobile
- Work together with internal teams to design new landing pages and microsites for campaigns and promotions
- Implement and adhere to search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to enhance organic search visibility
- Monitor website traffic, user behavior, and search rankings using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Generate regular performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations
- Stay informed about SEO best practices and algorithm updates
- Troubleshoot and resolve website challenges, including plugin conflicts and performance issues
- Apply website enhancements utilizing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Manage website security protocols and adhere to industry best practices
- Partner with marketing and sales teams to formulate strategies that drive traffic and engagement
- Assist in planning and executing targeted digital marketing campaigns
