Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology
- Bachelors degree
- Proven experience in feature delivery and managing product tradeoffs
- Demonstrated ability in overseeing and defining roadmap strategies
- Experience with end-to-end product delivery processes
- Knowledge of technology decisions and strategies through engineering discussions
- Background in managing technical products or online services
- Skill in representing and advocating for various essential customers and stakeholders in executive-level planning
Responsibilities
- Establish a visionary direction for the future of reading and writing on Kindle devices such as Paperwhite, Colorsoft, and Scribe
- Create a balanced roadmap that fosters innovation and is rooted in comprehensive customer and data insights
- Act as a vital influencer in formulating and reviewing business strategies, significantly impacting the overall Kindle strategy and customer engagement analytics
- Collaborate across Amazon and with cross-disciplinary teams, including design, research, engineering, and hardware, to craft an inspiring product roadmap that aligns immediate goals with long-term objectives
- Lead product launches, coordinating with public relations, executives, legal, marketing, customer service, and other product management teams
- Engage in global collaboration with teams located in various countries
