Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of professional software development experience
- At least 5 years of proficiency in one programming language
- 5+ years leading design or architecture, focusing on reliability and scalability
- Experience in a mentorship or tech lead capacity within engineering teams
- 4+ years in the Games Industry, involved in development, release, or live operations
- Hands-on experience with Unity, Unreal, CryEngine, Lumberyard, or equivalent 3D game technology
- Familiarity with development practices from the last 3 years
Responsibilities
- Define and own the technical vision and architecture for the publishing technology platform
- Advocate for AI-driven gameplay innovation utilizing AWS Bedrock and proprietary solutions
- Act as the principal technical liaison for external game development partners
- Collaborate with internal teams to incorporate cutting-edge technology and recommend enhancements
- Ensure compliance with Amazons quality standards and Lunas certification requirements
- Mentor and develop engineers while establishing technical standards and best practices
- Stay updated on advancements in game development technology and AI capabilities

As a vital member of a small, dynamic team, youll help build an innovative AI Native technology stack free from legacy obstacles. In this role, you will set the technical direction for our publishing services platform, mentor fellow engineers, and collaborate closely with top-tier external game developers.
