Requirements
Must:
- I am seeking candidates with over 5 years of professional software development experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in programming with at least one software language is essential.
- I require over 5 years of leadership experience in designing or architecting both new and existing systems (focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scalability).
- Candidates should have over 5 years of familiarity with the full software development life cycle, encompassing coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- I look for individuals who have experience mentoring, serving as a tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Machine Learning Compiler Engineer III on the AWS Neuron team, I expect you to be a thought leader, contributing to the foundational development and expansion of a compiler capable of managing the world’s largest machine learning workloads. You will architect and implement crucial features for the business, publish state-of-the-art research, and mentor a talented team of skilled engineers. Engaging with AWS ML services teams as a hands-on partner, you will participate in pre-silicon design, introduce new products and features to the market, along with various other innovative projects. Familiarity with Machine Learning and AI accelerators is advantageous, though not required.
