Systems Development Engineer, WWPS Engineering

- Proficient in at least one modern programming language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby - Background in Systems and Network Administration or System Reliability Engineering - Knowledge in systems engineering, networking, and/or application security - Familiarity with web protocols, Linux/Unix tools, architecture, and experience developing automated tools using Python, Java, or Ruby - Minimum of 3 years of programming experience in a modern language - Over 4 years of professional software development experience - At least 4 years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems with emphasis on reliability and scalability - Over 6 years of experience in systems development within IT or data center environments - More than 4 years of experience in deploying and managing systems in a Linux/Unix environment - 4+ years of experience in systems design, software development, operations, automation, and enhancing processes - Demonstrated experience in leading the design, construction, and deployment of complex software solutions that are reliable and scalable in production environments - Preferred: 5+ years of experience in various development/programming/script languages such as Python, Java, Bash, or Perl - Preferred: Understanding of engineering practices and patterns across the entire software/hardware/networks development lifecycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and live site operations - Preferred: Proven track record in taking a leading role in the development of complex software or computing infrastructures successfully delivered to customers
