This means solving complex and ambiguous problems efficiently and with high quality, shaping the definition and operationalization of customer-facing services. I will gather requirements from customers, generate technical designs, and carry projects through all software lifecycle stages. My daily tasks will involve developing best-in-class software systems for automating Amazon's network, collaborating closely with Network Engineering teams for fast and smooth software rollouts, identifying and troubleshooting recurring platform issues, and measuring success through data-driven decisions.
