Requirements

Must:
- Associate's degree, or Cloud+ or GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) or GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials) or SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner) - 5+ years of systems administration experience in Linux/Unix (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat, Solaris, etc.) in production environments - 4+ years of experience working with scripting languages - Experience with DNS, DHCP, SSH, HTTP, TCP/IP, and other common network protocols - 5+ years of systems management/administration automation experience - Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

Responsibilities

We are seeking an ADC Engineer to help U.S. Intelligence Community and Defense agencies implement innovative cloud computing solutions while solving unique technical problems. In this role, I expect you to take ownership of mission-critical services in our Amazon Dedicated Clouds (ADC). On a typical day, you may dive deep to identify the root cause of customer issues, investigate negative metric trends, or brainstorm innovative approaches to automate operational processes. You will take defined projects, break down the work to establish milestones, and create feedback mechanisms. Identifying and investigating systemic patterns, you will resolve, mitigate, or escalate operational concerns promptly. You will engage with Amazon's largest and most demanding customers, addressing specific needs across a full suite of services.
