Responsibilities
As the Software Development Manager for the Delivery Software Engineering team within OTS, I will be accountable for leading engineering teams in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software and services tailored to our Fulfillment Center Operations and Field IT clients worldwide. Key responsibilities include:
- Hiring, motivating, mentoring, and developing engineers, fostering growth and opportunities.
- Establishing high standards for processes and software quality.
- Collaborating closely with Product Management to translate feature requirements into software deliverables and launch plans.
- Actively engaging in system design reviews, fostering team process improvements, triaging issues, and resolving critical problems swiftly.
- Driving process enhancement strategies focusing on customer service, dependency management with partner teams, and operational excellence.
- Clearly articulating vision and strategy at both high and granular levels to facilitate prompt decision-making and issue resolution.
