- Experience in developing requirements and system architectures for perception systems within robotics, autonomous vehicles, or aerospace sectors.
- A strong foundation in computer vision, sensor fusion, or machine learning applications.
- Demonstrated capability to break down high-level requirements into detailed system specifications.
- Valuable experience with regulatory certification processes (such as FAA or similar).
- Excellent analytical thinking and technical documentation skills.
- A collaborative attitude with the ability to engage across various disciplines.
Responsibilities
As part of our team, you will:
- Convert complex operational needs into detailed specifications for our vision-based perception systems.
- Connect perception algorithms (including computer vision, radar processing, and machine learning) to the overall flight control and autonomy framework.
- Create thorough requirements documentation that aligns with aviation certification standards while promoting swift innovation.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams (including ML engineers, computer vision experts, and hardware engineers) to design and validate perception system architectures.
- Lead technical reviews to ensure our perception systems adhere to performance, safety, and reliability standards.
- Promote continuous improvement in our processes for developing and certifying perception systems for autonomous flight.
