Systems Development Manager, Amazon Leo Identity

In my role as a Systems Development Manager, I will balance strategic leadership with direct technical oversight. My typical day may involve leading team meetings and design reviews, collaborating with stakeholders to align priorities and roadmaps, approving technical designs, mentoring team members, allocating resources, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. I will lead the Amazon Leo Identity Infrastructure (LII) team, which is responsible for managing internal user, device, and automation identities. My team plays a vital role in scaling our operations and supporting Leos mission to provide reliable internet worldwide through innovative device management solutions and automation. Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of professional software engineering practices across the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence. - Understanding of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems). - Experience with Agile engineering practices such as Kanban and continuous delivery. - Familiarity with AWS platforms, services, and design patterns. Our compensation model reflects various labor costs across several U.S. geographic markets, with a base pay range between $149,700/year and $258,800/year, depending on market location and individual qualifications. Additional compensation may include equity shares, sign-on bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package.
