Systems Development Engineer, Kuiper Technology

Project Kuiper is Amazon's initiative to create a low Earth orbit satellite broadband network aimed at delivering fast and reliable internet to communities and customers worldwide. Our mission involves designing a system capable of providing connectivity to a variety of users, including households, schools, hospitals, businesses, government entities, and organizations in areas lacking reliable internet access. In my everyday work, I will engage in designing and implementing strong data pipelines and APIs that link various tools within Kuiper's ecosystem. I will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our performance metrics, quality data, and feedback processes align with the unique needs of Kuiper's manufacturing operations. My focus will shift between hands-on development, strategic planning, and problem-solving to meet our security and export control requirements. The KPE team I will be part of is dedicated to creating and managing the crucial productivity solutions that support Kuiper's operations and business partner engagements. Our services exemplify operational excellence and scale seamlessly as the business expands, all while upholding the highest standards of security and regulatory compliance. Moreover, compensation for this position will be reflective of various U.S. geographic markets, with a range from $136,100 to $235,200 annually, based on various factors including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. My total compensation package may also include equity, sign-on bonuses, and comprehensive medical and financial benefits.
