System Development Engineer, GSE Automation

I am part of Project Kuiper, Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network, committed to providing fast and reliable internet to customers and communities worldwide. This role is highly collaborative, interfacing with various teams in production, engineering, and IT infrastructure. A typical day in this position involves working with leaders across multiple technology domains within Project Kuiper to define and develop automation systems that cater to program requirements. I will manage projects, estimates, and scheduling while maintaining high standards for myself and my colleagues. I am part of the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) team, which designs and commissions automation and tooling for satellite testing and production. My team collaborates closely with satellite designers, production teams, and manufacturing engineers to tackle unique challenges in high-volume satellite production.
