Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing an engineering team
- At least 7 years of experience in engineering roles
- Over 8 years of experience in defining and developing multi-tier web services
- Proficient in engineering practices for the complete software/hardware/network development life cycle, including coding standards and testing
- Proven experience collaborating with product or program management teams
- Strong communication skills to gather requirements and articulate software features and strategies
- Demonstrated experience in recruiting, mentoring, and managing software engineering teams
- Background in hardware/software integration and real-time systems
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement software systems for manufacturing operations related to the Kuiper satellite fleet
- Create scalable software solutions that adhere to functional requirements and security standards while interfacing with hardware components
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products and services
- Define and execute strategies for growth in software services and team capabilities
- Build, mentor, and nurture a high-performing engineering team
