Requirements
Must:
- Over 3 years of experience in managing engineering teams
- At least 10 years of engineering experience
- Proficient in software/hardware/networks development life cycle practices and standards, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, certification, and live operations
- Proven track record of collaborating with product or program management teams
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years within the industry, particularly in Telecom, Data Plane networking, distributed systems, or related areas
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to design effective software systems and interfaces that meet RF and Networking Payload requirements
- Formulate a strategic vision for the teams growth, focusing on software and integrated mission outcomes
- Recruit and nurture a diverse team of software engineers
- Participate in the development of mission-critical systems within Leo
- Work alongside team members to integrate various hardware and software system elements
