Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management or a related field
- Strong technical expertise to interpret complex software systems
- In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release management practices
- Proven experience in managing programs involving multiple teams and dependencies
- Familiarity with distributed systems or large-scale deployments
- Exceptional organizational, planning, and execution abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, or equivalent development methodologies
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 7+ years working directly with engineering teams
- 3+ years in software development management
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing release schedules
Responsibilities
- Lead the execution and implementation of Amazon Leos software and tooling initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and program management teams to develop software and testing infrastructure
- Focus on driving automation and operational excellence within the project
- Identify opportunities for improvement and drive productive changes across the fleet
- Navigate complexities in multi-team environments while maintaining clarity
- Proactively identify potential risks and address them before they escalate
- Effectively communicate intricate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Foster accountability within the team and ensure compliance with deadlines
- Adapt to rapidly evolving operational requirements and circumstances
- Build strong relationships and promote collaboration across various teams
