Requirements
Must:
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is mandatory due to export control laws
- Proficient in RF testing equipment (e.g., VSA, VSG, GNSS simulators, switches)
- Experienced in managing RF up/down converters and time-varying channel emulation
- Familiar with Linux/Unix operating systems
- Skilled in project management, communication, and technical documentation
- Advanced problem-solving abilities in RF environments
- Programming expertise in at least one modern language (Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust)
- Experience with automation tools, particularly SCPI and Python libraries like PyVisa
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline development processes
- Experience in designing and implementing large-scale infrastructure solutions
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain lab infrastructure for satellite systems
- Serve as a liaison between software and hardware teams to facilitate collaboration
- Integrate and provide ongoing support for complex RF devices and testing environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve RF-related software bugs and issues
- Develop new capabilities for satellite systems, enabling efficient feature verification
- Define Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), metrics, and alarm systems to ensure high availability of test infrastructure
- Engage with ambiguous challenges, including the setup of new pre-production hardware
- Enhance the teams capabilities through continuous improvement and robustness in testing frameworks
