Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Over 8 years of experience in deploying, operating, and training others on complex test systems, including RF functional tests, high power electrical tests, ICT/bed-of-nails fixtures, and Flying Probe tests
- More than 8 years of experience in software and hardware systems integration
- At least 8 years of experience with standard electronic lab test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters) for debugging complex PCBAs
- Proficient in writing comprehensive test station operating procedures
- Capable of developing deployment and capacity plans for multiple testers across various CM sites
- Experience with Linux and scripting
Responsibilities
- Design and implement test strategies, optimizing test setups and processes at Contract Manufacturing sites, including the specification and qualification of test fixtures and equipment
- Conduct PCBA debugging and root-cause analysis at manufacturing sites, creating runbooks to guide technicians
- Collaborate with the R&D and Test Development teams to enhance test systems, software, and procedures for better effectiveness and throughput
- Analyze data for identifying failure trends and suggest improvements for PCBA, processes, and test systems
- Create and maintain documentation for test operators
- Educate operators on testing processes and support ongoing certification programs
- Provide insights to the Test Development team regarding test coverage, fault isolation capabilities, PCBA failure trends, and design for test recommendations
- Lead small teams to achieve specific objectives and execute strategic initiatives
