Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships.
- At least 7 years of programming experience with proficiency in one or more programming languages.
- Over 7 years of experience in leading the design or architecture of both new and existing systems, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scalability.
- Experience in mentoring, leading a technical team, or acting as a tech lead.
- Due to regulatory export control laws, candidates must be a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder), or legally admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or asylee.
Responsibilities
In this position, you will engage in all aspects of software development, from gathering requirements through implementation and testing to operational phases. Our team's goal is to automate mission planning and execution to operate the Leo satellite fleet efficiently, ensuring space safety while maximizing service availability for our satellite Internet customers.
- Develop embedded software using C, C++, Rust, or other programming languages within a real-time operating system.
- Create system applications for satellite commands and data transfer.
- Collaborate closely with ground service teams to support satellite operations.

The base salary for this role ranges from $151,300 to $261,500 annually, depending on the geographic market, as well as relevant experience, skills, and knowledge. In addition to base pay, we offer a total compensation package that may include equity, sign-on bonuses, and a comprehensive range of medical and financial benefits.
