Requirements
Must:
- Over 3 years of experience in hardware design and validation of components, subsystems, and systems
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, physics, or a related engineering field
- More than 5 years of experience in satellite terminal development, integration, and validation
- Profound knowledge of communication systems, RF technology, and phased array antennas
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or C++
- Familiar with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, vector signal analyzers, and network emulators
- At least 5 years of experience in developing complex telecommunication, antenna, or satellite communication systems
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of the Customer Terminal (CT) architecture by collaborating with sub-system engineers in various disciplines
- Conduct design tradeoffs between different CT architectures to inform decision-making
- Create, maintain, and support customer terminal validation hardware and software in lab environments
- Engage proactively with internal and external partners regarding systems hardware and software frameworks
- Assure that work delivered meets all technical, functional, performance, regulatory, and business standards
- Execute in-field and on-orbit validation tasks with satellites
- Travel up to 10% of the time as required by project demands
