Requirements
Must:
- U.S. citizenship or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
- Proficiency in interpreting mechanical and electrical schematics
- Experience in spacecraft or satellite hardware development, ownership, or qualification testing of components like Reaction Wheel Assemblies, Star Trackers, Magnetometers, Sun Sensors, and Inertial Measurement Units
- Familiarity with analytical and programming tools such as Matlab, Python, and C++
Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning and coordination of resources required for the successful acceptance and integration of satellite Guidance, Navigation & Control components
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and enhance spacecraft actuator and sensor solutions, ensuring they meet specifications and providing technical guidance for future designs
- Work alongside hardware development teams to address issues identified during both factory testing and operational space missions, implementing necessary corrective actions
- Ensure that advanced satellite hardware technologies meet mission requirements by collaborating with various internal teams
- Lead verification and testing procedures to confirm that hardware components align with rigorous space-qualified standards
- Facilitate hardware-in-the-loop testing of satellite systems, coordinating efforts with engineers to validate component performance in simulated space conditions
- Analyze and resolve intricate hardware integration challenges in direct collaboration with development teams
