Requirements
Must:
- I require at least 2 years of professional, non-internship software development experience.
- A minimum of 1 year in designing or architecting both new and existing systems is essential, demonstrating knowledge of design patterns, reliability, and scalability.
- A Bachelor's degree or Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) certification is needed.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby is mandatory.
- I need the candidate to currently hold an active U.S. Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above.
Responsibilities
- As a Systems Development Engineer, I want you to design, implement, and oversee scalable cloud solutions for our customers, working closely with cross-functional teams to contribute to the evolution of cloud-based technologies.
- Your role involves deep-dive troubleshooting, conducting post-mortem analyses to uncover the root causes of complex technical challenges and providing solutions globally for our clients.
- I expect you to proactively address system variances affecting major services worldwide while optimizing cloud infrastructure maintenance.
- Collaborating with diverse teams, you'll enhance our systems' health and efficiency by improving tooling and product builds.
- You will tackle complex issues affecting our customers and offer on-call support across various End User Compute technology stacks as part of the Amazon Dedicated Cloud community.
