Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in managing engineering teams
- At least 7 years of experience working directly with engineering teams
- Over 3 years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems
- More than 8 years of experience in leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services
- Familiarity with engineering practices for the complete software/hardware/networks development life cycle, such as coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and operations
- Experience collaborating with product or program management teams
- Proven hands-on experience managing large-scale EKS clusters (500+ nodes) in production
- Background in queue management systems and resource scheduling
- Strong communication skills to liaise with users and technical teams, and to engage with senior leadership
Responsibilities
- Lead a talented team of engineers in developing and maintaining the Neuron Testing Infrastructure
- Oversee the design, development, and functioning of our large-scale EKS-based test execution platform
- Manage the full lifecycle of a high-demand, business-critical service
- Ensure the platform meets availability goals while scaling to meet demand
- Integrate new EC2 instance types and pre-released hardware into the testing service
- Implement advanced queue management algorithms for efficient resource utilization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including compiler, runtime, and framework teams to fulfill their testing requirements
