Requirements
Must:
- I have 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- I possess 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems.
- I am proficient in programming with at least one software programming language.
- I have 3+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations (preferred).
- I hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent (preferred).
Responsibilities
As a Software Development Engineer at AWS, I will drive a wave of innovation and bring sweeping changes to the way we manage our networks. I will develop software that enables us to build the most reliable, available, and self-healing network in the world. On a daily basis, I will work closely with my teammates and surrounding teams to provide adaptive and creative solutions to operational and business goals. I will leverage big data technologies and analytics software to help run one of the largest networks in the world. My role will involve building scalable platform services for constructing authoritative data services for the Amazon Network and designing and scaling search services across AWS network devices, interfaces, and links.
