Requirements
Must:
- Associate's degree, or Cloud+ or GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) or GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials) or SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner)
- 3+ years of systems administration experience (Linux/Windows)
- Experience working with scripting languages
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above
Responsibilities
As an Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) Engineer II on our PEET US ADC Periphery team, I will design, deploy, monitor, and automate infrastructure, tools, and systems to provide a highly-available and resilient platform for our customers' and our team's workloads. I will implement innovative cloud computing solutions and tackle complex technical problems to support development across a variety of AWS services, including AWS Internet of Things (IoT) and AWS High Performance Computing (HPC). My role will involve working with some of the largest and most complex distributed systems in the world, helping U.S. Government agencies to leverage cutting-edge cloud technologies.
Description
I will be part of a team that supports the AWS IoT and HPC family of products and services for US Amazon Dedicated Cloud customers. AWS IoT enables connected devices to interact with cloud applications securely, supporting billions of devices and trillions of messages. AWS HPC allows customers to run large simulations and deep learning workloads in the cloud. This position requires that I maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance.
