Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Over 4 years of experience in site reliability engineering (SRE), systems engineering, systems administration, DevOps, security administration, or network administration
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing scripts, tooling, and automation for large-scale computing environments
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, Shell, or similar offerings
Responsibilities
- Deploy, manage, and support extensive Windows and Linux environments along with their virtualization and networking components
- Develop and maintain automation solutions utilizing PowerShell, Python, or Bash, focusing on scalable deployment and infrastructure management
- Collaborate with AWS or similar cloud platforms to facilitate hybrid infrastructure environments
- Design and implement secure, scalable solutions while accounting for system interdependencies and constraints
- Investigate complex technical problems and create viable solutions through thorough root cause analysis
- Generate and maintain technical documentation, develop training resources, and foster team knowledge sharing
- Work collaboratively with global teams, provide technical advice, and support interdisciplinary projects
- Identify security risks, devise mitigation strategies, and engage in compliance initiatives
- Participate in 24/7 on-call support rotation and may require up to 20% travel
