Requirements
Must:
- I have 7+ years of experience managing projects in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure in an operational space. Comparable critical infrastructure experience is defined as a facility that includes a 24/7 emergency backup system, manufacturing facility (semiconductor, auto, medical equipment or clean rooms), mass transportation (freight or passenger rail), oil and gas, utilities, hospitals, or a similar industry.
- I possess 7+ years of experience in Construction or Project Management.
- I have 7+ years of experience in on-site construction trades (mechanical, electrical, general) and vendor management.
Responsibilities
- I will serve as a technical resource within Amazon data centers and be part of a highly creative, efficient team tasked with tackling fascinating challenges in designing, building, and operating Amazon data facilities.
- I am responsible for project oversight and review of all disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural. A fundamental understanding of these systems is necessary, as I will be expected to identify areas for improvement as well as act on data provided by other teams and organizations.
- I will design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions to address operational challenges while contributing independently and working within multi-disciplinary teams.
- I am responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.
