Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance
- At least 6 years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission-critical facilities such as data centers, power generation, or oil and gas
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related discipline
- Understanding of critical mechanical and electrical equipment for data centers
- Proven experience in researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods for data center facilities
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations relevant to the region
- Ability to interpret and create construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents
- Experience with water treatment design for industrial and domestic water and wastewater systems
Responsibilities
- Influence water chemistry and treatment, collaborating with design engineering, construction, operations, and maintenance teams for our global data center fleet
- Coordinate water supply analysis and design for buildings, establishing site infrastructure requirements in conjunction with utilities and internal teams
- Determine space requirements for water treatment systems and provide detailed construction specifications
- Prepare detailed designs for water treatment and sustainability systems, ensuring compliance with design standards
- Evaluate the information provided to contractors, ensuring it meets operational and maintenance needs
- Collaborate with stakeholders including design engineering, construction, commissioning, and vendors to respond to information requests and engineering queries
- Oversee code compliance and installation standards, including water supply evaluations and inspections
