Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 5 years programming experience with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby
- Over 5 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships
- At least 5 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scalability
- More than 5 years of systems development experience within an IT or data center setting
- 5+ years of practical experience in deploying and maintaining applications in a Linux/Unix environment
- 5+ years of experience in systems design, software development, operational processes, automation, and continuous improvement
- Proven experience in leading the design, creation, and implementation of complex, high-performance software solutions in production environments
Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical leader, tackling complex architectural challenges that may not have predefined solutions
- Manage a team of software and systems engineers who innovate and push technological boundaries in product design and validation at scale
- Assess existing infrastructure and devise strategies to enhance tools and processes aimed at designing, validating, and monitoring product fleet performance
- Collaborate with internal interdisciplinary teams to guide platform development efforts and establish testing content while working with partner teams to define platform requirements
- Oversee the integration, development, and testing of tools that validate subsystems such as CPU, memory, PCIe, power, etc.
- Standardize testing processes and define telemetry and alerting mechanisms for the platforms designed by the team
- Maintain robust vendor relationships to stay ahead of technological trends, ensuring proactive communication and swift issue resolution
