Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship)
- 5+ years of proficiency in at least one programming language
- 5+ years of experience in leading design or architecture for new and existing systems (including design patterns, reliability, and scaling)
- Proven experience as a mentor or tech lead, or in leading an engineering team
- 7+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations (preferred)
- Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Develop state-of-the-art Linux-based networking platforms
- Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers to innovate and solve complex networking problems
- Ensure the Kernel state aligns with hardware state for optimal performance
- Work on modular embedded routing platforms critical to one of the worlds most sophisticated networks
- Lead efforts in design and implementation of Linux-based solutions for network devices
