Requirements
Must:
- 2 years of experience in program, project, or product management, or leading product implementations
- 8 years of experience in data analysis utilizing tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, or equivalent tools
- 8 years of experience in high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a closely related field
- Familiarity with Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma methodologies
- Background in global supply chain management, managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics environment
- Experience in program, project, or product management, or leading product implementations
- Masters degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related fields (preferred)
- Background in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or similar technology firms (preferred)
- Proven negotiation experience with global suppliers focusing on cost reduction (preferred)
- Knowledge of procurement practices while working with engineering, supply chain, or Tier 1 OEM partners (preferred)
- Experience with best-in-class procurement processes including category management, benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auctions, or contracting (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Drive large-scale supply chain and procurement improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with internal business partners and suppliers to enhance efficiencies and minimize risks and costs for Amazon
- Develop tracking mechanisms and metrics to ensure supplier accountability for performance and delivery
- Utilize competitive bidding, negotiations, and data analysis to achieve results in your category
- Think strategically and execute tasks methodically while managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Influence teams and stakeholders to embrace change with innovative technologies
- Adapt to a fast-paced environment characterized by ambiguity and continuous innovation
- Demonstrate curiosity and commitment to expanding professional and technical knowledge
- Analyze hard data and metrics to develop business cases and support decision-making
