Lead Systems Development Engineer, Enterprise Networking

We are part of the AWS Enterprise Networking organization and are seeking a System Development Engineer for our Core Service Automation team. In this role, I will collaborate with Software Development and Network Engineering teams to create next-generation software that facilitates and supports network connectivity within Amazon's internal networks. My focus will be on maintaining the stability, consistency, and sustainability of our network while upholding the high security standards our customers expect. Our AWS Global Connectivity and Network Availability (GCNA) team builds and designs a complex backbone network that efficiently routes and secures internet traffic, regardless of user location. AWS Infrastructure Services manages the design, planning, delivery, and operation of our global infrastructure to ensure continuous access to our services. Working alongside a diverse team of engineers and specialists, I will help maintain the highest standards of safety and security while providing scalable solutions at minimal cost to our customers.
