Requirements
Must:
- I hold a BS degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Engineering (CE), or Computer Science (CS).
- I have over 5 years of experience in developing complex server, storage, or network server designs.
- I possess more than 5 years of experience in creating functional specifications, design verification plans, functional test procedures, and operational repair plans.
- I have a minimum of 5 years of experience in debugging and performing root cause analysis of PCIe, memory, storage subsystems, or networking.
- I boast over 3 years of advanced support experience managing customer escalations to swiftly identify root causes and resolve issues in a large-scale production environment.
- I have experience working alongside interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production.
Responsibilities
- I will be part of a dynamic team that tackles systemic challenges, implements changes back into development, and establishes mechanisms to efficiently scale and operate our infrastructure at the Edge and Data Center.
- As a member of the AWS Hardware team, I will collaborate with subject matter experts in computing, memory, and storage technologies to enhance the customer experience in cloud computing.
- My daily tasks will involve interfacing with internal and external customers to comprehend project requirements and assist in system development based on my server designs.
- I will tackle operational challenges arising from our existing fleet, aiming to enhance the current customer experience as well as design superior systems for future developments.
- I will engage directly with vendors and ODM/JDM design teams to facilitate the large-scale development and manufacturing of our products.
