Requirements

Must:
- Over 1 year of relevant professional experience in technical roles involving computer systems and technology components - Technical diploma from a Military/Trade School or an Associate degree in industrial instrumentation/controls or equivalent electrical or mechanical operations experience with at least one year of related experience - At least one year working with mission-critical low and medium voltage electrical and/or mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate primarily with multiple Data Centers to deploy, service, and upgrade Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) - Mentor and provide training to Facilities team members regarding the operation and management of BMS and EPMS systems - Audit, maintain, and oversee enterprise asset management systems for BMS and EPMS installations - Manage small to medium-sized projects and associated programs - Conduct point-to-point checkouts between field devices and controllers - Execute first-line diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance on programming code and hardware tied to the BMS and EPMS - Facilitate the provisioning process for servers, controllers, industrial PCs, and conduct communication testing between third-party devices and controllers or servers - Install, replace, configure, and calibrate sensors - Interpret and comprehend electrical schematics and control panel drawings - Monitor low voltage electrical contractors installing field devices, ensuring compliance with AWS standards - Provide commissioning and systems-level testing support - Create and maintain updated drawings and documentation of systems - Adhere to change management protocols to generate work requests and procedural methods - Engage in factory witnessed tests at vendor facilities or panel builders - Undertake any other tasks assigned by the manager - Propose design enhancements based on consultations with system users and operational insights - Conduct root cause analyses during testing and commissioning processes - Ensure safety protocols are followed by all personnel present on-site - Be available for on-call duties and rotating schedules, responding to after-hours emergencies - Manage service activities, monitor ticketing systems, conduct root cause analyses, and prioritize tasks - Actively oversee service agreements, including vendor scheduling, quality checks, and financial invoice assessments - Physically navigate job sites that may have uneven terrain or require work at heights and utilize ladders when necessary - Regularly walk and require the use of hands and fingers for handling tasks, and occasionally lift items weighing up to 49 pounds, participating in group lifts for heavier objects.
