Requirements

Must:
- A minimum of 1 year of technical experience with computer systems or technology components - Ability to navigate uneven terrain and work at heights using ladders - Capability to perform tasks that involve walking, using hands, and lifting or moving up to 49 pounds, with assistance for heavier items - Technical diploma (Military/ Trade School) or associate degree in industrial instrumentation/controls or equivalent electrical or mechanical operations experience - At least 1 year of experience with low to medium voltage electrical or mechanical systems - Basic knowledge of industrial control systems, controllers, and troubleshooting of analog, discrete, and communication protocols (MQTT, BACnet, MODBUS)

Responsibilities

- Primarily support multiple data centers by deploying, servicing, and enhancing BMS and EPMS systems - Mentor and educate Facilities team members on BMS and EPMS operations - Audit and oversee computer enterprise asset management systems for BMS and EPMS installations - Manage small to medium projects and programs - Conduct point-to-point checkouts between field devices and controllers - Perform initial diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance of programming code and hardware in BMS and EPMS - Execute server provisioning, controller setup, industrial PC configurations, and communication testing with third-party devices - Handle installation, replacing, configuring, and calibrating sensors - Interpret and understand electrical schematics and control panel designs - Oversee low voltage electrical contractors to ensure compliance with AWS standards - Assist in commissioning and systems-level testing - Create detailed documentation and red-lined drawings of systems - Follow established change management processes for work requests and procedures - Participate in vendor factory tests or panel builder facility evaluations - Carry out additional tasks as directed by management - Suggest design enhancements based on user consultations - Conduct root cause analysis during testing and commissioning phases - Ensure safety protocols are adhered to by all personnel on-site - Be available for on-call and rotating schedules, responding to after-hours emergencies - Manage service activities, including monitoring ticketing systems, conducting root cause analyses, and prioritizing tasks - Actively oversee service agreements, including vendor scheduling and financial reviews
