Requirements

Must:
- An Associate’s degree in an IT-related field or equivalent professional or military background. - A minimum of 2 years of experience with server hardware. - At least 1 year of experience working with UNIX/Linux operating systems. - Preferred certifications include A+, CND (Certified Network Defender), Network+, or Security+. - Preferred experience includes 2+ years in a Data Center environment and familiarity with storage devices. - Experience in managing tasks and priorities using a ticketing system.

Responsibilities

As a Data Center Technician on our growing team, I will ensure the overall availability and reliability of data center operations to meet or exceed specified service levels. My role will involve performing detailed hardware and network diagnostics, carrying out physical repairs, and participating in an on-call rotation. My daily tasks may include: - Lifting and moving materials weighing up to 40 pounds. - Working in confined and/or elevated spaces. - Performing physical activities such as bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching. - Standing and walking for extended periods of over 8 hours a day. - Safely ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways. - Working in an industrial environment and covering shifts longer than 8 hours to support 24/7 operations, which will include both day and night shifts.

Compensation for this role reflects the labor market across various US geographic locations, with a base pay range from $55,900/year in the lowest geographic market up to $125,100/year in the highest market. Pay is influenced by factors such as market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Our total compensation package may also include equity, sign-on bonuses, and other benefits alongside a comprehensive array of medical and financial benefits.
