Data Center Senior Engineer - Night Shift

- Serve as the primary escalation contact for all facility-related concerns, overseeing the operation and management of routine and emergency services for critical systems including switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, and building monitoring systems. - Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and troubleshoot facilities within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA). - Provide training and guidance to Engineering Operations Technicians and collaborate with the Facility Manager to cultivate team culture. - Develop and implement new standard practices for Engineering Operations Technicians, Chief Engineers, and vendor support teams. - Assist in the establishment of new facilities and contribute to projects aimed at enhancing current facility efficiency. - Be available for routine maintenance outside of standard business hours as needed and respond to after-hours emergency calls. - Translate complex technical information for a non-technical audience. - Coordinate projects with IT managers and other business leaders to manage capacity and optimize plant safety, performance, reliability, and efficiency. - Ensure compliance with safety procedures by both vendor and staff members. - Set performance benchmarks for facilities, conduct analyses, and prepare reports regarding all aspects of critical facility operations and maintenance. - Utilize basic administrative tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook for daily tasks.
