Requirements
Must:
- Proven expertise with access control and CCTV systems
- Over 6 months of experience in security positions, ideally within a data center or related field
- Additional qualifications or training in security disciplines is beneficial
- Bachelors degree or relevant background in military (including Military Police or Special Operations), law enforcement (with authority to make arrests), TSA security screening, or correctional facilities
- At least 2 years of security experience or equivalent, demonstrated through job experience, training, military service, or education
- Minimum of 1 year in a leadership role
Responsibilities
- Lead operational security excellence across multiple facilities in proximity
- Identify and address physical security weaknesses swiftly
- Manage vendor relations concerning new security installations, maintenance, daily operations, and patrols
- Analyze data metrics to track security enhancements
- Propose improvements to electronic surveillance and access control systems
- Direct efforts to educate data center personnel about reducing false alarms
- Develop and enforce security procedures and protocols
- Compose reports and presentations while updating management on physical security efforts
