Requirements

Must:
- At least 1 year of experience managing security operations and staff. - A minimum of 1 year of experience in security patrolling and reporting. - At least 1 year of experience working with security vendors and contractors. - Preferred: 2+ years in access control and video surveillance software applications (e.g., LENEL or C-cure). - Preferred: 2+ years working in a facility, identifying security gaps in physical barriers, security officer procedures, policies, surveillance equipment, and alarm systems. - Preferred: 2+ years of experience in campaigns aimed at reducing false alarms; familiarity with workflow ticketing and performance metric extraction; experience in investigating incidents such as accidents, thefts, disturbances, and discrepancies. - Preferred: 2+ years overseeing security subcontractors providing guards, electronic security systems, door construction, repair, fencing, and access control. - Preferred: 2+ years managing security construction projects.

Responsibilities

As a Data Center Security Manager, I will be responsible for ensuring operational security excellence across various nearby facilities. I will continuously monitor for any physical security weaknesses and take immediate action to address them. I will coordinate with vendors regarding new security constructions, repairs, daily operational security, and planning. By analyzing quantitative data, I will track metrics and observe improvements in our security measures. I’ll propose enhancements for electronic surveillance and access controls. My role includes directing efforts to educate data center staff on minimizing false alarms, drafting and implementing security processes and procedures, and communicating the status of our physical security operations to management through reports and presentations.
