Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in advancing new design concepts from exploration through development to deployment or large-scale production
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems
- Familiarity with power management and power monitoring systems
- Over 5 years of project management in data centers or similar critical infrastructure
- Understanding of essential data center equipment
- Knowledge of engineering documentation, electrical schematics, and standard operating procedures
- Awareness of building codes and regulations such as Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, or OSHA
- Background in Data Center Engineering Operations with strong insight into electrical and mechanical infrastructure
- Ability to read and interpret construction specifications and drawings across various domains
Responsibilities
- Oversee and review projects, ensuring that all disciplines including electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural design are within guidelines
- Identify areas for enhancement and implement solutions based on data from team and organization
- Contribute independently while collaborating within multi-disciplinary teams
- Manage project direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion, aligning with corporate strategy and goals
- Tackle various projects related to improving electrical, mechanical, fire detection, and building automation systems
