Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline - Proven experience in construction or project management - Skilled in guiding new design concepts from exploration to development and deployment - Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems - 5+ years of project management experience in data centers or similar critical infrastructure is preferred - Familiarity with Data Center Engineering Operations and a solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems - Ability to read and interpret construction specifications and drawings across various domains - Knowledge of essential data center equipment

Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive operational plans with stakeholder teams that outline scope delivery, timing, resource allocation, and budget requirements extending 12-18 months into the future - Standardize processes, tools, data, and reporting methods to evaluate key portfolio performance indices ensuring success - Refine program planning data, such as scope definition, cost and labor estimates, and scheduling for both existing and new programs - Implement improved cost and labor estimating mechanisms using actual performance data through automated feedback loops - Establish and oversee goals in safety, quality, team productivity, vendor performance, and cost management - Provide accurate and timely reports on portfolio status for business and finance collaborators - Organize and facilitate value stream mapping sessions with stakeholders to assess work throughput, pinpoint inefficiencies, identify root causes, and craft solutions to optimize processes for project success - Collect feedback from internal customers and stakeholders to enhance portfolio and program performance - Employ change, risk, and resource management strategies to adapt to evolving organizational needs - Create new programs aligned with the strategic aims of the team and the organization
