Requirements
Must:
- Over 4 years of experience in Information Technology (IT) or a Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field
- At least 2 years of operations and on-call support experience for data centers, mission-critical plants, or production facilities
- Minimum of 2 years in team management or equivalent experience working across technical and non-technical teams
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a Data Centers daily operations and ensure operational efficiency
- Assign and prioritize trouble tickets for data center technicians and operators
- Oversee the performance of a diverse team of professionals in various locations
- Create career pathways for employees and maintain updates in our systems
- Recruit and train data technicians to meet staffing needs
- Ensure effective management of data center operations, including shift arrangements and hardware logistics
- Act as a subject matter expert in all facets of data center operations
- Monitor and achieve operational KPIs and metrics
- Inspire team innovations in processes and technology
- Manage large-scale events such as outages and act as the point of contact
- Improve workflows and throughput in data center operations
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures to align with the best industry practices and meet service level agreements
- Coordinate the on-call schedule, managing absences and vacations
- Strive continuously to enhance the quality and customer experience of services provided
