Requirements

Must:
- 4+ years of experience in Information Technology (IT) or a Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field - 2+ years of hands-on computer hardware experience, including troubleshooting and repair - 2+ years of experience in managing teams

Responsibilities

- Oversee the operations of a Data Center, ensuring optimal performance - Prioritize and delegate trouble tickets to technicians and operators - Manage the performance and development of diverse teams spread across multiple locations - Develop career progression plans for team members and update internal management tools - Recruit, train, and maintain adequate staffing levels for technical teams - Ensure smooth and efficient daily data center operations, including queue management and logistics - Act as a subject matter expert in all areas of data center operations - Monitor and ensure that operational KPIs and metrics are consistently met - Inspire and facilitate process improvements and innovation within the team - Lead large-scale events or outages as the primary contact - Optimize workflows and throughput in data center operations - Recommend, document, and implement policies and procedures in line with industry best practices and service level agreements (SLAs) - Maintain the on-call schedule while coordinating absences and vacations - Foster a commitment to delivering high-quality services and enhancing customer experiences
