Requirements

Must:
- 1+ years of professional experience, or experience in technical roles pertaining to computer systems and technological components - Technical diploma from a military or trade school, or an Associate degree with one year of relevant experience in industrial instrumentation/controls or equivalent electrical or mechanical operations - At least one year of experience with mission-critical low and medium voltage electrical and mechanical systems - 1+ years of practical experience in a data center or other critical environment (preferred) - Basic understanding of industrial control systems, controllers, and programming, including troubleshooting of industrial controls analog, discrete, and networked input/output field signals (preferred) - International Society of Automation (ISA) Certified Controls System Technician (CCST) Level I or higher certification (preferred) - Fundamental knowledge of network design and layout, as well as low voltage cabling (copper/fiber) (preferred)

Responsibilities

- Primarily support multiple Data Centers by deploying, servicing, and upgrading BMS and EPMS systems - Mentor and train Facilities team members on the operation and control of BMS and EPMS systems - Audit, maintain, and manage computerized enterprise asset management systems for BMS and EPMS installations - Oversee small to medium-sized projects and programs - Conduct point-to-point checkouts between field devices and controllers - Perform first-line diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance of programming code and hardware associated with BMS and EPMS in data centers - Carry out provisioning for servers, controllers, industrial PCs, and configure network setups and communication testing between third-party devices and controllers or servers - Install, replace, configure, and calibrate sensors - Read and interpret electrical schematics and control panel diagrams - Supervise low voltage electrical contractors during the wiring and installation of field devices following AWS standards - Support commissioning and systems-level testing - Create and maintain red-lined drawings and documentation of systems - Follow change management procedures to generate work requests and method of procedures - Participate in factory witnessed tests at vendor or panel builder facilities - Perform additional tasks assigned by the manager - Recommend design enhancements based on user consultations and system operations - Conduct root cause analysis during testing and commissioning - Ensure safety protocols are adhered to by all personnel on-site - Work on-call and on a rotating schedule as necessary and respond to after-hours emergencies - Engage in service activities like monitoring ticketing systems, conducting root cause analysis, and task prioritization - Actively manage service agreements, including vendor labor scheduling, quality assurance, and financial invoices review
