Requirements

Must:
- 1+ years of experience in electrical or mechanical fields, or in data center and mission-critical facilities (e.g., hospitals, military sites) - Technical diploma from a Military/Trade School or an Associate degree with related industrial instrumentation/controls experience - Basic knowledge of industrial control systems, controllers, and their programming, especially in troubleshooting input/output field signals - Experience in operating and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems is a plus - ISA Certified Controls System Technician (CCST) Level I or higher is preferred - Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is advantageous - Understanding of network design, layout, and low voltage cabling (copper/fiber) is desirable

Responsibilities

- Support multiple Data Centers in the deployment, service, and upgrades of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) - Train and mentor Facilities team members on BMS and EPMS operation and control - Audit and manage computer enterprise asset management systems for BMS and EPMS installations - Handle small to medium-sized projects and programs - Conduct point-to-point checkouts between field devices and controllers - Perform initial diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance of programming and hardware for BMS and EPMS - Provision servers, controllers, industrial PCs, and test network configurations and communication with third-party devices - Install, replace, and calibrate sensors - Read and interpret electrical schematics and control panel drawings - Supervise low-voltage electrical contractors to ensure compliance with AWS standards - Participate in commissioning and system-level testing - Create red-lined drawings and document systems - Follow change management procedures for work requests and methods - Engage in factory witnessed tests at vendor or facility panel builders - Suggest design enhancements based on user feedback and operational efficiency - Conduct root cause analysis during testing and commissioning phases - Ensure safety protocols are upheld by all onsite personnel - Be available for on-call duties and respond to off-hours emergencies as needed - Manage service activities such as monitoring ticketing systems and performing priority task analysis - Oversee service agreements, including scheduling vendor labor, quality assurance, and financial reviews
