Requirements

Must:
- Associates degree or higher in a related field - Fundamental understanding of industrial control systems, including meters, devices, sensors, and relays - At least 3 years of experience with low voltage controls, wiring, networking signals, and electrical and mechanical systems - Willingness to work flexible hours and shifts as needed - Certification as a Controls System Technician (CCST) Level I or higher preferred - Familiarity with industrial communication protocols like MQTT, BACnet, or MODBUS - Over 5 years of experience in controls/automation or a technical environment is an advantage - Strong comprehension of engineering documentation and electrical/mechanical diagrams - Experience in data centers or mission-critical environments preferred - Basic knowledge of network design and low voltage cabling options

Responsibilities

- Support multiple data centers by deploying, servicing, and upgrading BMS and EPMS systems - Train and mentor facilities team members on BMS and EPMS operations - Audit and manage computer enterprise asset management systems for installations - Oversee small to medium-sized projects and programs - Carry out point-to-point checkouts between field devices and controllers - Perform diagnosing and troubleshooting of programming and hardware related to BMS and EPMS - Execute server and controller provisioning, including communication testing - Install, configure, and calibrate sensors - Read and interpret electrical schematics and control panel diagrams - Supervise low-voltage electrical contractors to ensure compliance with AWS standards - Provide testing and commissioning support at the systems level - Document system modifications and create red-lined drawings - Follow change management processes for work requests and procedures - Participate in factory tests at vendor facilities - Conduct root cause analyses during testing and commissioning - Ensure operational safety methodologies are consistently applied - Manage service activities, including monitoring ticketing systems and prioritizing tasks - Oversee vendor agreements, including labor scheduling and quality assurance - Handle material transport tasks up to 50 lbs and utilize OSHA-standard safety equipment - Take on additional duties as assigned by management
